Edmonton's Ice Castle 2018! By Emil Tiedemann For the third year in a row, Edmonton's Hawrelak Park looks as if Elsa from Disney's Frozen is AirBnB'ing there, as the Ice Castle is once again here for the winter!  The stunning ice fortress will stay until the weather permits, so make sure you grab your tickets (we highly recommend you purchase them online HERE ), wear some comfy boots, and charge up your iPhone to snap some sweet #yegwinter pics!  Tickets for the Ice Castle range from $9.95 to $20, depending on your age, the day you visit, and where you buy them. It will be open 4PM-9PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (closed on Tuesdays), 4PM-10PM on Friday, 11Am-10PM on Saturday, and from 12PM-8PM on Sunday.  There is plenty of parking at the Park (first come first serve), and the Park itself closes at 11PM. Here are some pics I snapped of this year's fantabulous Ice Castle!

What more could a kid ask for, really!  There are more than 40 animatronic dinosaurs grazing and hunting this Boreal forest near Gibbons, including Tyrannosaur...
