By Emil Tiedemann There happens to be a  Municipal Electio n  coming up in Edmonton on October 18, 2021, and I think it's important for locals to get to know the City Council candidates running for their particular ward (as well as their Mayoral candidates, of course).  I chose to get more involved in the election this year and so wanted to give each candidate a chance to tell us a little about themselves, their vision, and why you should vote for them. I have sent a 10-question questionnaire to each of  the 2021 Edmonton Municipal Election candidates  and will post their responses  (100% as written)  here as they come in. Who's Running to Represent Edmonton In the 2021 Canadian Federal Election?

By Emil Tiedemann Canada's 44th federal election will take place on Monday, September 20, 2021 (7:30AM-7:30PM), following Prime Minister Justin Trudeau 's call for a snap election on August 15. There are 10 federal ridings in the Edmonton region, for which all 10 incumbents are running for re-election (the deadline for candidates to submit their nomination papers is August 30).  It's important for everyone to be at least informed about who is running in their riding (you can find out your riding HERE ), which is why I wanted to make it as easy as possible for anyone living in the Edmonton area to do just that. Below are all the candidates that are running to represent us as a Member of Parliament (MPs) in Ottawa. Each incumbent will have an asterisk (*) next to their name.
