He was, of course, referring to the 1959 plane crash that killed Ritchie Valens , The Big Bopper and a 22-year-old Buddy Holly . And although Holly's life ended far too soon that day, his music and legacy refuses to fade away. 'Oh Boy, Buddy Holly' runs until April 12th! Jubilations Dinner Theatre 's production of ' Oh Boy, Buddy Holly!
