Anyone with a social media account can send off a quick message to their favourite team, the Edmonton Oilers, at any given time they please. However, thanks to Fountain Tire and their new Fan Bods site, you're now able to step up your personal cheer to a whole new level!
In association with the Edmonton Oilers, Fountain Tire has developed a website that will allow anyone to type in their own personalized cheer for their favourite hockey team. From there, a group of passionate Oilers fans - painted from head-to-toe in blue - will serve as the ultimate cheering canvas, scrolling your message on their own "fan bods" for the world to see.
These dedicated fans - who happen to be employees of Fountain Tire - will be dancing in the stands on Thursday, November 1, when the Oilers take on the Chicago Blackhawks. The Fan Bods are a fun and interactive way for Fountain Tire to showcase and share their own hometown pride of the Edmonton Oilers, and they are encouraging all of us to do the same!
Fountain Tire's hometown spirit goes back decades, in fact. The company's roots date all the way back to 1956, when Bill Fountain founded a small double-bay garage in small town Wainwright, Alberta, just two hours southeast of Edmonton.
Within 20 years, the company had expanded to 19 stores, and then well over 100 by the end of the century. Today, Fountain Tire has more than 160 locations across Canada and is proudly headquartered right here in Edmonton, home of the Oilers.
Fountain Tire has always had a strong connection to the Capital Region and is proud to be a longtime fan of the Edmonton Oilers. Their new Fan Bods app is just another way that Fountain Tire is living out their own promise of being "on this road together" with their customers.
